Dear Allen strange,

There exist many editions of Clavierbung III by Bach.
Of course, as we are here confining our interest to the
Four Duets, I tell you that I usually play them - the time I
played them all by heart are gone - from the edition
G. HENLE VERLAG Mnchen.
This is excellent for the practical musician and yet closest
to the original print - under some musicologically extremely
pertinent aspects. HENLE is a separate edition for the Duets,
essential to note. Format: portrait.

*Related musicology:

Duets. English Harpsichord Magazine, Vol. 4, No. 2, 1986(87), page 21-27

Temperatur". In "Bericht ber den Internationalen Musikwissenschaftlichen
Kongre Stuttgart 1985", Hg. Dietrich Berke und Dorothea Hanemann, Kassel 1987,
Seite 439-449.
*
There exists a separate edition as well from Brenreiter, part
of the NBG Neue Gesamtausgabe Bachgesellschaft.
Nicely printed, though, as well; format landscape.
Editor Prof. Manfred Tessmer, still fervent proponent
of Equal Temperament for Bach - must have a hearing problem.
His edition, to stress, nevertheless, entirely correct and usable.
But don't tune your harpsichord necessarily in E.T. for them.

I am not accustomed to deal swith scores from INTERNET,
perhaps somebody could give you a hint.

Kind regards,

Herbert Anton Kellner
