Mathematical Formulae temperaments:

Hello all!

I downloaded a mathematical formulae graphing program from the Internet the
other day, and, (just for fun), began experimenting with the strangest
formulae I could think of!
My mind began wandering----

Would it be possible to graph a formula over a range, for x, where y=32 (5
octaves).
We could then callibrate the x-axis, for whatever intervals we wanted over 5
octaves.

Take for example y=tan(x).

We could divide the 0-eternity part of the formula on the x-axis into 60 (or
if you prefef 20 interval octaves, 100) equally callibrated bits, and "violara"!

We have a new temperament...

I will let you know soon as to the results of my experiments.

Do you have any ideas?
