Thanks for the input concerning my question. I learned alot.

I've been gone for a few days, so it took me awhile to read some 250 posts. Yike.

To all of you who defended a math based approach, i'm sorry, i must have not made myself clear.

I asked basically, who doesn't use overt math in thier process?

Mathemusicians need not apply. But i'm glad you did. Although some of you have (in my opinion) much too simplistic ideas for such large, intricate brains. I found that curious.

Alas, E-mail has a way of being composed on the fly, and it may not be the best medium for certain minds.

Nevertheless, thanks for all the public and private response.
