Messiaen�s intonation

The liner notes to"Messiaen:Organ Music Vol.1"w/Hans-Ola Ericsson mention that Ericsson suggested the technicians"changed the intonation of the instrument to be suitable for Messiaen�s music".Would this mean that the organ was retuned to 12TET,being originally in meantone?Anyway it is very good music,with harmonies that most 12TET composers never explore...
