re: Equitone

I found a couple of references to Equitone in an old issue of Musical
6-6 Newsletter. The Equitone system was invented by Rodney Fawcett in
1958 and used by Erhard Karkoschka ("Ich habe mit EquitonKomponiert,"
Melos VII/VIII, Mainz 1962, pp 232-239). Kurt Stone discussed it in "
Problems and Methods of Notation," Perspectives of New Music, Spring
1963, pp 9-12.
