Erv Wilson pointed out to me years ago that the double-tied circular
mirroring process generates Partchian tonality diamonds from chords. For
example, the 3:5:7 generates the following array of tones:

2/1 7/5 7/6
10/7 5/5 5/3
12/7 6/5 3/3

0r 1/1 7/6 6/5 7/5 10/7 5/3 12/7 2/1.

I think this interpretation demystifies the process considerably.
