Thanks to Margo Schulter for providing me with a
"first draft" definition for "equitone", which I've
finally added to my Tuning Dictionary:

I'd like to point out one particular thing Margo wrote
here that I find to be very insightful, as is the related
footnote:

This is really a great addition to the dictionary.
