TX-802

Tunlings,

I know that the TX-802 is used by a fair number of people on the
list, and I recently bid on one on eBay to try and bulk up the number
of boxes that will microtune.

But the bidding never matched the sellers reserve price, so I thought
maybe some of you might have an opinion: what would you consider a
fair price for such a beast (assuming good condition)?

If too OT (I would hope not) just reply to me privately.

TIA,
Jon

Besides getting feedback for this, you can also email the seller, I do that
almost every auction I get into with a reserve. I've never been refused a
price because ultimately they all want to sell.

I thought about that. They reopened a new bidding, once again lower
than their reserve! I'll send 'em a note, but I also didn't want to
be *totally* unrealistic in my offer.

Wait: I don't *need* it -- I can *afford* to be totally unrealistic!

Cheers,
Jon

I've seen them go in the low $200s although I have to admit I paid in the upper $200s. Mine
turned out to be mint and it came with a RAM cartridge. No manual but I found one I could
download off a German site.
