Monz's new reconstruction of Hurrian hymn

I had made several new reconstructions of the infamous
Hurrian Hymn H6, which is widely reputed to be the oldest
known existing musical score. (I think there's an older one.)

I finally made an mp3 and graphic of the score and
made a webpage about it, based mostly on a post I sent
to the tuning last last August.

If anyone out there's who's interested in this can find
Dumbrill's book, it's well worth reading. (Let me know
where you got it... I need to read the rest of it.)

Oops... my bad.

I just realized that this doesn't have anything to do
with tuning *yet*, because this example is in 12-EDO. Sorry.

I prepared that post originally for spiritual_tuning because
it related to a discussion there, and decided to send a copy
here, without really considering it fully.

(Gaps in relevance to tuning is a big part of the reason
why all my research into the Sumerians from a year ago has
waited this long to make its appearance on my website.)

There will be versions coming in other tunings...

For now, visit this page in connection with my recent one
on Sumerian tuning.
