I just ran across an article on Sims that I wrote for the Sonnek Society
Bulletin a few years ago at:

Maybe some of the list members who are curious about Boston microtonalists
might be interested.

I should say I wrote it in a big hurry, and it's not the best writing. But
it tells something about him. Also, it's written for readers who don't know
much about JI, etc., so the specialists from your list might find much of it
to be very obvious. Still, who knows, maybe somebody will get something out
of it.
