why octave?

I think we use words to communicate with others...microtonality means
something, maybe something different to each person...why use it? I
don't know...why use words at all? Because that's the usual way of
communication between folks...Hstick

you're right, and it's hilarious. Different people interpret words in
different ways; some more figuratively and some more literally, and everyone
unconsciously or consciously filters all those words through their personal
biases and life experiences. Nobody knows what anybody is saying, really,
and when it comes right down to it, we don't even know what we are saying.
It's truly madcap.
