June 2001 issue of "Chamber Music" arrived yesterday (publication of Chamber Music America), and of all things the back page is a birthday tribute to Partch! I'm putting new info on the site tonight, and will include a mention (and I'll send a note to the list this time).

But there is also a good article on William Duckworth by member Kyle Gann -- good enough that it made me want to hear more of his music (Duckworth's -- I already like Kyle's...). Any article that can use the phrase "degenerated into a Stockhausenesque free-for-all" is OK in my book!
