LA MUSIQUE ARABE TOME 6 is 644 pages long and I don't know of any
translation into English. I once starteed to translate the first
volume (= TOME 1), but never had time to finish it. This book
dates from 1959, and some libraries have copies. It's just about
impossible to buy it now. (I found 5 volumes out of 6 on the
shelf h when I visited the publisher long ago in Paris, but that
was extreme luck.) Publisher is Paul Geuthner, Paris.

(Make that Librairie Orientaliste Paul Geuthner, 12, rue vavin, VIe)

Best,

Lydia Ayers

I assume you might of first saw it at Cal Arts as that is where i ran across it. Had
recommended it to Jacky awhile ago due to the ryrthumn cycles (as a coincidence)
