HTML-List Lead Balloon: Alternatives?

I haven't measured download speeds, and you apparently have, so I'll presume
you know what you're talking about.

Those seem to be the most popular Email programs, or at least the most
talked-about in the trade rags, but I may be mistaken.

OK, it's flagrantly obvious that nobody would participate in an HTML
supplementary tuning list.

Let's hear some specific alternatives then. Some of you have suggested
some
sort of a website for sound- or graphic-intensive ideas or questions. How
would you suggest such a thing be managed?

What means can we use to get put more actual music into our discussions about
music?

I am, by the way, curious about what Email programs you folks use.
