Hi Vog,

set exclude 10
EXAMPLE/MIDI test.mid test_retuned.mid

You can save those two lines as a .par file
say "retune.par"

and run them from within SCALA using
@retune.par

Hope it works again.

If you try retuning immediately after playing
something on a midi player, then the file may
be locked by the midi player, so that SCALA
can't write to it - you may need to choose
close file first from the player, or something
of that sort.

All the best for the performance!

:-)

Robert

Hi Joseph!

Thanks for the encouragement.

It's really enjoyable actually.

Kind of magic today to see the first ascii faq appear.

I think I must have missed that one. I've enjoyed the
one on the newbie 12 notes question. I like the historical
approach to these questions, really puts them in perspective.

I'll try it on a newbie friend or two.

The working draft tree, yes, for a fair while, as it just consists
of a list of urls and the descriptions to go in the tree.

For the on-site tree, and the ascii faq, no, not that site. I've deleted
a 1 Mb file which will make some space, but that wouldn't keep it going for long,
only for a demo version.

Not that there is any particular hurry as I imagine it will be
a little while before it runs out of space.

GReat.

Back to the programming then,....
