I too will greatly miss his presence. John Fahey was the first person I
heard playing solo acoustic guitar instrumental music using blues
techniques, slide and open tunings that wasn't just accompaniment to songs.
His music pointed me towards a musical form of expression that has been an
integral part of my own compositional language ever since. RIP, Blind
Joe/John.
