I second that. I've taken to the study of maths and physics after some years of writing off such
"unartistic" studies. This was prompted by a determination to understand the concepts and theories
discussed on this list and in the literature. And the journey has been wonderful. It has given me
deeper insights into many aspects of creation of which music is only one. It also helps me
understand the map of the mind. And it has clarified a lot of aspects of inner tuning, a topic
that interests me greatly. While on the subject of quotes, I believe it was Einstein who said or
wrote to the effect that all the efforts of modern science were futile as long as there was one
unhappy child on earth. Now that takes humility.

Amen.
