There you go again Neil--judging me
I hope you sent the same bloated rant to dan stearns
We are joking--Is that forbidden or something
on this list?
YOU are showing your over-critcal arrogance agian I am not and will not be
brow-beaten by your self-righteous posturing Mr Hstick
I am not negating or judging music in any tuning system I am merely
expressing my opinion regarding the tuning systems themselves. What I am
REALLY doing is having some fun and learning alot...particularly lately
about lattice structures.
And save your tuning history lessons for your students Bub.

We are joking

Sorry Pat -- but I ain't jokin... I DO actually find the
dogmatic JI rhetoric offensive -- And that has NOTHING
whatsoever to do with the SOUND of a 7/4...

And I find corruption of purity offensive
and it has everything to do with the 7/4...the 17/16 and the 31/16 and the
19/16 and the 29/16 for that matter.
maybe I am wrong in stating my feelings?
My point to Hstick was honestly that your initial message--which I don't
think was aimed entirely at me(I may be wrong)
was inflammatory. My post was intended to be a humourous response to your
own sky-high rhetoric which I personally found laughable.
Sorry for the misunderstanding
Resonate and Extenuate.

I personally think it's wise, in an open forums (fora?) of this sort,
to explicitly remind us when something is an opinion. Obviously even
moderation has to be taking in moderation. It's impossible to keep from
upsetting everybody, but it's probably best to err on the side of
caution.
