None that I can think of -- though one or two of those 22-tone Fokker
periodicity blocks seemed incredibly compact -- with each note connected to
anywhere from 3 to 12 other notes . . . right?

As I've noted, a mapping of 22 tones to two octaves, omitting the Es, has
some nice properties. One can get familiar with the various intervals --
there's a symmetry like that on the standard keyboard arrangement, it's just
a slightly different one.

Meanwhile, the 19-tone mapping to a 12, I find very confusing. Try to play a
multi-octave major scale . . . ugh!
