So far i have used bare wood which is not the best way to go. Chris
forested recommends DW40 believe it or not. I know that there is a
company that uses Pau d' Arco as a basis of a finish. Not only is it non
toxic, it has been claimed to have many healing properties. But can't
remember the company (Litnos or something). If you find out let me know.

reason!

Jacky!
I have an old Ocora recording of Music from the Hebrides and Celtic
music from scotland that sounds so much by native plains americans that
i love to put in on and have people ask me, "what tribe is this". after
this i put on some music with the almost identical title BTW from Aino
island (northern most island of Japan), and have them ask me where this
is from. Resent DNA test have supported this connection, as well as
archeological discoveries of West Chinese mummies dressed in what. IN
PLAID!

Yes - very interesting. I'm familiar with the Bear Ceremony of the
Aino.

Fascinating! Any with kelts? : )

We are all so connected by blood and land - this is obvious. And that
it manifests in the music shows me how something deeper is at work
than we can readily describe with our rational minds.

Collective Unconscious anyone?

An old Indian saying is that "you can't live on this land without
becoming Indian". I feel its force daily in everything I do!

List!
I in turn learned a few tricks from bills mounting but found the
tone not useful for the type of music i would want to do. Maybe if one
wants to play along with Violins and Flutes, the tuned harmonics might
be useful.
