This is slightly unclear. dividing a cents value by itself results in 1,
right? do you mean, taking a cents value X, and then taking a ratio
1200/X, and dividng X by 1200/X ?

Hello!

Yes, you are right! In my attempt to make it as simple as possible I
actually created unexpected ambiguity!

This ambiguity was also communicated to me privately by other
listies, so I wrote a clarification here:

/tuning/topicId_18578.html#18612

And what I intended to convey was to divide the cents values by the
constant iteratively.
