Mathematical Challenge for 2001

This is a note for all our composer members on this list who are
having a difficult time counting past 8, or, in contemporary cases,
past 12.

I propose that within the next year, fiscal non-profit 2001, you
mathematical slackers learn some calculus and help Paul Erlich figure
out triadic harmonic entropy! No slide rules allowed... And Fermi
Labs are too busy at the moment calculating the human genome, so
let's forget about them...

All calculations should be shown only on the harmonic entropy site,
since some list members have complained about the unnecessary
"clutter" of such high-brow thinking on the Tuning List...

[No help from Paul Erlich or Dave Keenan on your math homework
allowed either...]
