William Byrd microtonal MIDI files

Found some apparently microtonal MIDI files of William Byrd's
music at
<http://classicmidirsrc.simplenet.com/site/archive/byrdmscl.zip>
I was surprised to find that they were in "mono mode" style,
with pitch bends on indiidual channels.
