I think that's my cue to exit stage left!

generations of microtonalists to come forward to speak about their
creative work on the Tuning List.>>

No, probably not... Paul can certainly appear rather brash, and I've
butted heads over this or that on occasion with him as well... but, I
don't think the tuning list would be 15% of what it is without him
contributing as he does.

Standoffish rigor is not for everyone, and indeed it rubs some folks
to utter distraction... but personally I'd much rather pick up
technical particulars from someone with a rigorous approach such as
Paul. And as with most large group type discussions/forums, it's
probably easier to just attempt to filter out what you don't like/need
(so long as it's not some wonton out of hand something or the other),
than it is to take it too grimly -- personally.

My hope would be that you'll just continue to post however you see fit
to do so, and that Paul will continue to speak his views as he sees
them, and that the ensuing discussions will continue to be of some
value as regards tuning.

thanks,

I have also been richly rewarded by my interactions as well, and it
is my hope that all will continue *as is*. No problems here!

Rigor is not for me, but certainly you have nailed the reason why I'm
here: "to learn" (and perhaps to share).

Thanks, and I shall. And as always, I am enriched by all creative and
constructive discussion.

Thanks for being the voice of sober reason that you are Dan!
