Yeah, we've gotten a couple of warning messages over the last few months . .
. now it's here . . . well, onelist got eaten by egroups, which got eaten by
yahoo . . . no surprise, the company I work for got eaten by a big fish
which has now been eaten by an even bigger (British) fish . . .

After I logged in, I did a search and found it in Just Intonation.
But not in microtonal.

Yes, it looks like "composition" has been re-named "songwriting". I
believe the popular term for this is "dumbing down". As the
songwriting/theory list has closed archives, we can only guess at what
they might be discussing.

We remember that 25 years ago our chosen professions as
musician/composer/performers was to be found in the somewhat lofty, if
underpaid, category of "artist". These days, when filling out obligatory
forms to promote our website, we notice that any mention of our formerly
esteemed profession is only to be found in the category of "entertainment".
