I bought GigaSampler LE ("light edition" - piano only), about a year
ago, but could never get it up and running properly. I have a pretty
powerful Dell PC, 400 MHz and 64 MEG of RAM, but the sound is AWFUL,
with pops and fuzz. And the "support" for the product was lousy: I
e-mailed them, and after several days got an answer to a completely
different question. It also zapped my other synth software on
installation, AND took up a huge amount of disk space, worthlessly.

Of course you'll want to get other experiences if possible. But as far
as I've seen so far, the Giga products are a complete waste of money.
Sorry...

Believe it or not - if I remember correctly, I think Giga is
optimized for a Celeron chip!

Hello JdL and everyone,

i also had a bad eperince with an email.
i asked how does one acchieve 160 note
polyphony with the GigaStudio 160. To my surptice
they recommended an IBM ATA dricve instead of
the SCCI one.

By the Way do tou recall if there is a user
tuning table availble in the program?

The revies for both the GigaSampler and GigaStudio
have bee very favorable. Is it possble that the LE
has some flows?
