Actually, retuning Beethoven is made more interesting by the fact that he
was deaf when he wrote most of his music. You can either take that to mean
he would have always "heard" music tuned the way pianos were in the early
part of his life, or take it to mean some kind of adaptive tuning impossible
to acheive on a piano would be more appropriate . . .
