Paul's 34 tone comments

Hey Paul...you mentioned that the melodic interval between the major
and minor whole tones in 34 eq was too large for your taste...is that
opinion based on experience with composing in 34, or theoretical
concepts? I personally think that 34 is a gas, including the
commas...just curious...Hstick

It's based on experience -- "diatonic" melodies sound uncomfortable to me in 34-tET. Of
course, once harmony enters the picture, the situation gets worse.
