Thanks for that Neil, I can't believe they only got three gigs. By the way,
the Remember Shakti mandolin player U. Srinivas (sp?) does a very convincing
job of emulating Hindustani ornamentation by just sliding across the frets
on his 12-tET mandolin -- amazing -- so I'm heartened because with 22 frets
per octave, the sliding will only be that much smoother . . .
