I found a nice CD with 17th century harpsichord music
"Il cimbalo cromatico napoletano" with Alan Curtis on harpsichord,
Nuova Era 7177. It's in quarter comma meantone. The booklet
mentions the instruments of Vicentino, Colonna and Salinas,
and the Italian chromatic keyboards with split keys with 14 to 19
keys per octave. Curtis plays a normal harpsichord, but some
parts with enharmonic notes were recorded using different tunings
in separate recording takes and then mixed. I have put a fragment
of a piece by Gioan Pietro del Buono (1600?-1650?) in MP3 on the
webpage http://www.xs4all.nl/~huygensf/english/temperament.html
which has a G# and Ab.
