Yo Franz...when I was a youngster, I lived in a very funky part of St.
Louis, and there weren't a lot of white folks around...one picks up a
lot of slang that way. Also, I've played blues/jazz and country in a lot
of fairly slimy locations, and that adds to the stew. I enjoy slang,
feeling it is quite expressive...I'd use more of it, but I don't want to
scare all the nice college educated folks on this list (sense of humor,
please). And, I first saw the phrase "bad motorcycle" on an Albert
Collins album a long time ago "The Cool Sounds of...) And, indeed, Mr.
Collins was a very bad feller....Hstick
BTW. read Miles Davis's autobiography for the ultimate in slang talk...

One of the most wonderful Jazz books I've read!!! And largely in part
to the colorful language.

In fact you are the only microtonalist that is just about as "Bad" as
Shaft!
