I've redone the VRML octony as a 2D image map for those who can't view
VRML models.

zip now includes the image map version as well:

Perhaps the technique I used may be of interest.

It is a client side image map (as distinct from server side ones). Since all the work is
done by your browser, rather than the server, you can use them off-line as well as on-line.

Image maps are really easy to make using a suitable program - you just click and
draw the areas for each url, and type the urls you want for each. I mention that
as it may be useful for other 2D scale pictures.

You can make the midi clips in FTS (Windows 95/8).

You use a special notation for the file names, such as 3s5_5_5s7.mid (s = *) for the
clip for 3*5 5 5*7. FTS can read your list of midi clip file names, and make the files
for all of them in one go.

I was motivated to make it especially for Mac users, as there seems to be a real
shortage of good VRML browsers for the Mac.

If anyone has found a way to view the VRML models on a Mac, I'm sure there will be
a lot of interest in that.

If installing Cosmo Player beta plug in for the Mac, here is a WARNING for
mac users:

Make sure you back up your address book and favourites first as it can overwrite
your user profile (!!???!!).
