No one responded to Patrick Grant's ad, so I will. The BAM Cafe is a
really neat place... I was there just recently. I used to have some
association with Lemore Tomer, who books the place, when she was
involved with the Goliard Concerts, which performed several of my
pieces...

Anyway, it's almost worth coming to New York just to "hang out" at
the BAM Cafe. It's great that Patrick is doing something there.
Patrick's music is, also, exceptionally interesting. He has a
minimalistic orientation, but enough changes so that one's attention
is always held. In addition, there's the TUNING... which is varied,
sophisticated, and xenharmonic.

I think I, unfortunately, have a prior committment that evening that
I can't get out of... drat.

Oh... I can't restrain from mentioning... For those old fashioned
souls still interested in feminine pulchritude... Marija Ilic and
Kathleen Supové are very pulchritudinous... that is, in addition,
of course, to being dynamite performers...
