I've decided to start breaking the MICROTONAL GUITAR 2000 station into
smaller and easier to digest hunks. For anyone who might be
interested, I've got one volume up at this point with more to follow
as soon as I can get to 'em...

1. Dan Stearns "Silvered Alar Rise!"
2. Neil Haverstick "Spider Chimes"
3. Graham Breed "Celestial Radishes"
4. Doug Kolmar "Five Movements for Electric Guitar, No. 5"
5. Seth Josel playing Rob Constable's "You Owe Me"
6. Wim Hoogewerf playing Joseph Pehrson's "Just In Time"

After hearing Mike Watson's piece, I know I must now get a
fretless!!! This is unbelievably beautiful!!! A sound to die for! You
know - his style reminds me a little of Shawn Lane (listening as I
type).

Dan, what can you reveal about the way Seth Josel's instrument is
tuned? This is also very beautiful as well.

Thanks for your great radio page Dan! This has the distinction of
being one of these mp3 radio stations in which I enjoy every single
composition.

Gratefully,

Jacky Ligon

On the Tenney Cage homage, it's a microtonal scordatura tuning on a
standard -- i.e., 12-tET -- guitar.
