Well, it worked!

Here are the urls:

2)5 dekany
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany2_1_3_5_7_11.wrl
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany2_1_3_5_7_9.wrl
The black letters are for the inward facing vertices of the outer tetrahedra, (as before,
but mentioning for anyone reading this who hasn't seen the earlier ones).

Click on the tetrahedra for the tetrads. Or the spheres for the diads and triads.
For the single notes, click on the letters, in spherical region around the centre of the text,
or on one of the letters.

Depending on your VRML browser, if you click on
a chord a second time while it is still sounding, or try to play two notes / chords
at the same time, you may find that the second midi clip stops sounding from then onwards.

This may also happen if you click on a chord / note while the VRML clips are being loaded.

If so, reload, wait for all the clips to be downloaded, and try again, and that should clear it.

The way to avoid it is to wait for each clip to finish before playing the next
(= I will investigate this to find out if there is anything to do about it in the VRML)..

2)5 dekany with xx = 0.3 in the batch file - easier to see the tetrahedra,
but can't see the diads for the inner edges of the tetrahedra from the outside
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany2_0p25_1_3_5_7_11.wrl
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany2_0p25_1_3_5_7_9.wrl

3)5 dekany:
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany3_1_3_5_7_11.wrl
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany3_1_3_5_7_9.wrl
For these, click on the faces for the otonal triads, and the red or yellow spheres
for the utonal triads.

The red spheres are for the utonal triads for the vacant faces of the framing octahedron,
such as 3*5*9, 3*5*7, 5*7*9, and are shifted out from the centre of the relevant face.

I've left them that way so that there is more room for the gray tetrad sphere + the text
for the other note of the utonal tetrad (in this case, 3*7*9)

The viewpoints 3*7*9 etc don't work at present - if you go to that one for instance, whatever you click on
you will hear the note 3*7*9. That is because I put them inside the invisible sphere that
you click on to hear the 3*7*9. Also you will only be able to get out of it by either
changing to another viewpoint, or turning off collision detection. Needs some more work!

3)5 dekany with transparent tetrahedra for the tetrads (but doesn't fit in too well with
the text at present)
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany3_tetrahedra_triads_1_3_5_7_9.wrl

Notice, I've tried using a decimal point instead of the * for this one,
e.g. 3.5.7
Does that seem a possibility, - makes the text a bit more compact.

And here is a zip with everything in it for off-line browsing
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/dekany.zip [200KB]
Has 278 files. I've included the templates and batch files as well in case anyone wants to use them.
Unpacks to 971 Kb.

Because of number of files in it, needs an extra Mb for disk partitions with 4 K clusters, or up
to an extra 8-9 Mb for 32K clusters (= Fat 16, 1-2 Gb, or Fat 32, 32 Gb or more for Wndows).

(and if you want to look at the hex dumps of the midi clips
http://www.robertwalker.f9.co.uk/dekany/hex.zip [419 KB]
)

The option to make them in FTS is mid edit at the moment.
When finished, you will be able to make a file consisting of list of midi file names for chords in cents,
ratios, or arithmetic notation with substitutions such as s for *, p for ., o for /

Then choose whether to make them as chords, arpeggios, broken chords, or all three,
(will add ^ to file name for broken chords, and @ for arpeggios)

Then click a button (well, at present, type something into the Sustain box, but later will make a proper window to
do it all) and FTS will make midi clips for them all.

Will be v. useful for the Margo Schulter article midi clips too!

Some work to do to finish that as far as the "type something into the Sustain box", but maybe later today, or
beginning of next week.

Doing it in a proper window for it will wait till after FTS 1.09.

This is incredible!

I'm amazed that you have been able to get this all working so quickly!
