Hello to the fellow newbie I'd like to use your name but I have deleted
the digest upon which your message appears.

I have been more than happy with the Ensoniq sampler it is built like a
brick, has better tuning resolution than most (0.39 cents), and uses the
midi tuning standard so can be used with JiCalc and Justonics 'Pitch
Palette' ( the two tuning tables I use) .

As a sampler it is easy to use and quite powerful to boot (nice fliters).
