Paul, can you have forgotten that I was taken to task just a short time
back for making a passing reference to [TROTS] when Daniel Wolf left the
list?

Paul, I would challenge you: if you think [TROTS] has been a terrible
thing, that your life and your access to powerful tools, free and
otherwise, would be much improved without [TROTS], how about let's start
up another list to debate the question?

Either way, since passions are high on the subject, can we agree that
[TROTS] should be avoided on the tuning list?

No, I didn't forget. I guess I was just curious as to what people think

I don't think that and was asking an honest question.

Sorry. If someone wants to express their opinion on this, let them write me
off-list.

I disagree a little I have the "hots" for the "TROTS." I don't mind
if it "peeks it's head" in here every now and then. After all, this
is a political year (for better or worse).

I opt for keeping the focus of the list very BROAD, so a few OT
things can be on it, if they pertain to what we are discussing.

TROTS certainly does, since I enjoyed staring at Mathworld several
times... not knowing what the FDurn was going on there most of the
time...and now I can't...
