Microthon 2000 Accommodations

I nearly gave up on attending this event when I found that the only
hotel vacancies in NYC that weekend were at the 4 and 5 star hotels -
quite a bit out of my price range.

Then a friend suggested New Jersey. What parts of New Jersey are
reasonably close to the event? If I get a response I could do a Net
search for vacancies in the appropriate area.

Thanks,
Paolo

Paolo, why not ask for advice on the list? Maybe you could stay with someone
that is attending?

Hoboken, NJ is nearby and less expensive. Maybe Brooklyn or Queens. You
don't need to be in Manhattan to attend.

Actually, my inquiry was indeed addressed to the Tuning list. :)

How's the Hackensack, NJ area? That's where I found one hotel with
vacanies.
