IMHO meaning

AFAIK, no one answered the question about abbreviations like IMHO. The

My favorite new acronym is "WTF", meaning, What the "heck". OTOH, if
BUAG means Butt-ugly ASCII graphic, we need a different abbreviation
for the ascii graphics done on this list.

I remember when I first joined this list, there were some comments
with "LOL," and I assumed they were mildly insulting as "lots of
love"... whereas it was more innocuous, merely "laughing out loud" so
exact definition *DOES* make a difference.....
