Need a Yamaha TX81Z?

Hello... Recently I acquired a new (used) synth, so now I'm trying to find a good home for a pair of Yamaha TX81Zs in good condition. Thought I'd give first-crack to people on the tuning list, who are more likely to appreciate their tunability.

The TX81Z in conjunction with Scala and a computer is a really nice, fully tunable FM synth with about 1.5 cent pitch resolution over its entire range -- any key to any pitch. These are great boxes for someone who is just getting into microtonal work, or even the seasoned veteran who wants to add an inexpensive box to the home studio. With a pair of these, you can get some pretty rich sounds, and they're trivial to re-tune with Scala. They also have the famous Yamaha built-in set of tunings, like Werckmeister & Meantone.

Here are my parameters... I'm trying to obtain $100 for the pair, but I'm flexible... and I do have a soft-spot for starving music students. ;-) (I paid a lot more for them used, and on eBay these days, they're going for around $80 to $150 each.) I can deliver these units personally in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, no charge, but I would rather not ship them anywhere.

Please drop me a line (off the list of course) if you're seriously interested. I'll hang onto them a week or so before taking them to a consignment shop.
