Ah, specialization! What ever happened to
the idea of a "Renaissance Man"?

I suppose you're largely right, tho, John.
My preoccupation with theory has pretty much
completely devoured any time I used to set
aside for composition. Wonder why it is
that we theorists get so wrapped up in the
theory ...?
