microtonal belly-dancing music

Hello all. I just witnessed (in company of Denny Genovese) an
interesting microtonal performance last night at the Clair de Lune
coffee-shop, right here in my own neighborhood of North Park.

A 3-piece ensemble, with one percussionist who's name I didn't
get, Frank Lazzaro on dumbeck (another type of drum), and
Robert Anthony Aviles on 5-string electric viola, played
middle-eastern-flavored pieces and improvisations during and
between performances by a succession of women belly-dancing.

A very entertaining evening. Lazzaro and Aviles both have CDs
