Hello, there, and here is an at least partially corrected version of my JI
keyboard diagram -- let's hope that there aren't other "bugs" -- with the
correct value for the 21:11 major seventh at ~1119.463 cents, as opposed
to the "~1121.885 cents" erroneously shown in the original diagram as the
distance between f (the arbitrary reference note) and e':

392:363 147:121 4:3 196:121 56:33
133.061 336.971 498.045 835.016 915.553
f# g# bb c#' d+1'
_133.1|70.8_133.1|80.5_80.5|123.4_ _133.1|70.8_9.6|203.9_
f g a b c' d' e' f'
1:1 9:8 14:11 63:44 3:2 27:16 21:11 2:1
0 203.910 417.508 621.418 701.955 905.865 1119.643 1200
9:8 112:99 9:8 22:21 9:8 112:99 22:21
203.910 213.598 203.910 80.537 203.920 213.598 80.537

This morning I realized the mistake by noticing that b-e', a pure
fourth, was over 500 cents in size rather than the correct ~498.045.
Could a "slip of the keyboard" setting a 4:3 in a JI tuning to a value
of almost exactly 500 cents be a sign of crypto-12-EDO tendencies?

Fortunately, this error at least shouldn't affect the Scala file, but
my apologies for the glitch with the keyboard diagram, especially to
anyone who may have been relying on it to tune the JI scheme.

Apart from confirming my fallibility, this "debugging" process also
provides an opportunity to thank the various JI enthusiasts who have
helped to inspire the idea of multi-prime JI systems for neo-Gothic
music. The recent thread on large integer ratios in JI has been of
special interest, with Jacky Ligon's recent tuning featuring such
ratios a special source of encouragement.

As the Monz might (or might not) say, "Lattice begin."

Most respectfully,
