Paul brings up some excellent points about the unnatural effects of
being anchored to one point in the "constructive-destructive
interference" cycle. But I think Jeff's point was that this "problem"
can be a wonderful thing in one context and a nuisance in another --
and if this wasn't what he meant, well it certainly is the case for me
anyway.
