Cross posting content...

Please folks,

If something is of interest, put in a URL. If you see something you are interested in sharing, point it out. If there is someone who you think has valid opinions or thought, invite 'em in (if they haven't found the place).

But let's not bog the list down in cross posting of content from other lists and forums! That's one quick way to muddy the waters around here, especially in light of not being able to respond.

I've left my JH comments out of the preceding...

Cheers,
Jon

Hey Jon!

Generally I enjoy agreeing with you... and I mostly would on
this point EXCEPT... The problem is that the AMC Forum is a little
weird... not the people on it, well, that's a different matter...

but it's HARD TO ACCESS. Many people, including Paul Erlich, who is
generally rather fastidious about finding everything, couldn't find
it! It's not an easy part of their site to find, and the URL's don't
even point to the specific messages like they do over here at
egroups...

So, much of the specific dialog I wanted to point out... which I
thought would be of interest to people over here... would not have
been appropriately highlighted.

Yes, generally I would agree with you and, in fact, from now on I
will just give the URL. Besides, next month it's something other
than microtonality (no insult to my friend Frank Oteri... that's just
the nature of the site) so it won't pertain so much to our list here
anymore.

Here is the URL again (it's, again, not post-specific):
