Yes it is really annoying when someone gets credit for an idea you had first. Patents are
very expensive, so they should be used only when you are sure the idea will make money. It is
easy to build and maintain a web site, though, and with all the ideas springing from you head,
you should just make a web page to exhibit your ideas, along with the date you conceived of
them and plenty of descriptive headers so that the ideas can be found by search engine. That
way, at least when someone does a prior art search, they will see what you have done and when.
Then if someone is making money from patenting an idea you have published, you have a chance of
setting things straight.
