Saxophone and microtones

Hello
Excuse my ignorance ,but how can you play microtones on the saxophone?
Can anybody inform me about Joe Maneri's 72 tone octave on saxophone?

I play microtones all the time on my still-new xaphoon, a bamboo reed
instrument which sounds like a cross between a sax and a clarinet.
In other words, my intonation needs work. A lot of work... :)
