Sorry about Netscape crashes - for tuning users.

The connection with tuning was quite clear to me in today's New
Scientist article from which I had found the link.
The problems which they had originally experienced seemed to be caused
by harmonic distortion.
By applying a non-linear mathematical model, they were able to reduce
the distortion.
It seems that they had analysed the way in which the sound was
propagated through water and then through air.

This link is about the connection between harmonics and the mathematics
and physics of sound hence tuning, and to my mind very "on-topic".

BTW It was posted using Netscape 4.72 Export version running on SuSE 6.4
Linux.
If you're having problems with your Netscape browser, there is a special
fix, which SuSE had sent to me to prevent browser crashes. EMail me if
you need it for Linux.
When I read the tuning list on my Communicator I see the url's
highlighted and they can be made to display in the browser only by
clicking on the links.

Apologies again
lucy
