OK, so I copy the Margo Schulter text EXACTLY as it appears in her
post:

! neogw17a.scl
!
Neo-Gothic well-temperament (14:11, 9:7 hypermeantone fifths)
17
!
126/121
130.638937 cents
208.753982 cents
286.869027 cents
343.786952 cents
14/11
495.623009 cents
561.329000 cents
626.261946 cents
704.376991 cents
778.871047 cents
196/121
913.130973 cents
991.246018 cents
1052.557976 cents
1121.884955 cents
2/1

I paste it into "Notepad" so it's pure text for sure... saving it, of
course, with a .scl extension.

I load it into Scala and I get:

|
Error in file format of neogw17a.scl
|

????

This is what happened the FIRST time, and that's why I "truncated"
the text...

Joseph- you may have noticed that many e-mail systems cut off a space
from lines that start with a space. Look at one of the files in the
scale archive, and reproduce the spaces that were chopped off from
Margo's post.
