It's of course possible to send Scala files as an attachment,
but sending them as inline text is just as easy. To make a
.scl file, you can use standard Windows "copy" after you
select the text and then "paste" it into a new text file
that you give the name neogw17a.scl or schulter_17.scl or what
you like. No need to retype it.

I looked for a good notation system for that scale. It's
possible to use the 17-tET notation (set notation e17).
But maybe better is the 29-tET notation (set notation e29).
Then you need to type also
set tolerance 0.5
to make it work for all tones. Then type "show".

Thank you, Manuel... however this did not work for me.

Here is the text I used:

126/121
130.638937 cents
208.753982 cents
286.869027 cents
343.786952 cents
14/11
495.623009 cents
561.329000 cents
626.261946 cents
704.376991 cents
778.871047 cents
96/121
913.130973 cents
991.246018 cents
1052.557976 cents
1121.884955 cents
2/1

I saved this text as a text file with the Scala extension, and it
shows in the directory of Scala.

However, it says next to it "not a scale file."

I must be doing something wrong...
